The table placed between the arches creates the illusion of floating in mid-air, while the arches create intimate booths for small groups. The largest contemporary mosaic<\/h1><\/div>

The longest floor mosaic in Slovenia stretches over the entire length of the room. At 35 meters long and made up of more than a million pieces of stone, it tells the story of the city\u2019s past through symbols such as a raft, a piano, a bishop\u2019s staff and Herman Poto\u010dnik Noordung\u2019s space station. This modern masterpiece was created by architect and artist Igor Ore\u0161i\u010d.<\/p>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n<\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div> \n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div> \n\n\t

The artworks curated by the Maribor Art Gallery in cooperation with the Regional Archives Maribor will take you through the story of the city and its heritage.<\/p>\n

They were inspired by the rich history of the vine, Lent and the old town.
